Arts Festival Reflection & Planning

in Curriculum

For our IDEA Lab (Babs, Jimmy, Yara, Jennepher), we went back and reviewed our work this year for the 2022 Arts Festival. We specifically discussed what worked and what didn't work in terms of technology, visitor experience, workload, and how we shared our work with the community. It was helpful to figure out what we want to keep (template for website, student interviews) and what we want to replace and try out (using stage to project interviews and installation project). Something that we are excited about exploring is the possibility of using the Apple TVs to showcase student voices, versus QR codes.

We also discussed roles and division of responsibilities, as well as some changes to our timeline (e.g. filming student interviews throughout the school year, rather than over one week in April).
