Professional Development Applications

Be sure to get verbal approval from your supervisor prior to applying for PD funding using the PD Request Form. Any inquiries regarding PD can be sent to Maria and Fran via pd.manager@burkes.org. Posting a reflection after attending any PD is an important part of the process that let's your supervisor know you attended the opportunity and shares your learning with the Burke's community.

Summer Grant 2024

Summer Grant are awarded to faculty to individually or collaboratively design and/or revamp curriculum. A $250 daily stipend will be provided for approved grants. Summer Grant proposals can be submitted using the link below and are due by May 20th, 2024.

Sign up opens in April, 2024

Burke's hosts 4 Idea Lab Days on-campus, two in June and two in August. These days are provided as collaborative time for you to do a deep dive pursuing a curricular idea or integrated unit. The Tech Team is also available if you want to get support on an aspect of myBurke's or other tech-related project. If you are planning to attend the optional Idea Lab days June 12th/13th or August 13th/14th, please submit a request by May 20th.
