We reviewed the past year's curriculum for 5th - 8th grade math evaluating pros & cons, overlap, shifting topics between grade levels and constructing intentions for '24-'25. The following link takes you to the document we used as our spine for the PD and for structuring next year's math curriculum. We looked at IXL and ERB data to examine student outcomes and what we can do to make improvements with CHW/test preparation as well as regular inclusion of review topics. We also edited the assessment lines to reflect our changes to the curriculum for next year. We explored various potential resources and examined different assessment approaches. We evaluated our current textbooks/resources and what supplemental materials we may want/need.
