I attended the ACTFL Conference from November 17-19 in Chicago, where I participated in numerous workshops focused on new technologies, teaching tools, and engaging activities for teaching Chinese. It was a great opportunity to connect with other Chinese educators, exchanging valuable teaching experiences. I’m excited to incorporate these learnings into my teaching practices and keen on sharing these new tools and insights with our world language department.
Moreover, it was a wonderful opportunity to browse through the exhibition booths and discover upcoming storybooks and teaching resources. Exploring these new materials was truly exciting, as they offer fresh and innovative ways to enrich our teaching approaches and engage our students. The exhibition provided a diverse array of resources that could greatly enhance the learning experience for teaching Chinese and other languages.
I have enjoyed hearing about your experience at the conference and am glad you were able to network with other Mandarin teachers in addition to gaining new materials and ideas!
