Data and Math
Joy, May, Vanessa and I explored various tools for tech integration, data visualization, and data analysis today. We started with Adobe Illustrator, spent time on Piktochart, Canva, and What's Going on With This Graph. My favorite tool was Tuva! I liked it because it was free, intuitive, easy to use on laptops and iPads, and I found datasets that are age appropriate for 6th and 7th grades, the grades we hoped to focus on. I'm excited to investigate attributes of dinosaurs with our students this fall!

I'll have to check out Tuva! Never heard of that one. I love that you were able to collaborate and experiment with so many different tools to enrich your math program and can't wait to see what ends up working best with the students!
