On a foggy day in June, I had the joy of spending all day talking about literacy assessments across K-4. First, Alice, Julie, and I went over our new phonics assessment data from the 22-23 school year. This was an informative undertaking and lead to some deep assessment discussions and questions about how we can use our data to support instruction across K-4. I also met with the first-grade team and we began going over our assessments, discussed how the first year of TC Phonics went, and how we can assess and pace next year (compared to this year). This is certainly a worthwhile topic to continue talking about across K-4 teams! Thanks to all that helped do this work this school year.
