Third Grade Lion Dance Planning
The third grade team met with Lisa, Renita, and Alice to look at the third grade Lion Dance performance through the lens of the Cultural Appreciation/Appropriation tool. We had a productive conversation about the history and purpose of the Lion Dance performance at Burke's and made a list of questions we still are grappling with. We are hoping to work with a consultant (perhaps a member or leader of a Lion Dance troupe) as we gather more input and information.
