Lower School Curriculum

I watched a recording of this 5 hour presentation about new children's books and SO much more! It was with Deborah Salyer who is a book and curriculum expert. One thing she mentioned that I hadn't heard of before is a newer book category of books about climate change called "cli-fi". I ordered many great new books based on her recommendations.

She also has an amazing livebinder with tons of recommendations and resources. I also learned about First Chapter Fridays and visual book lists.

These presentations are always so packed with information and so educational--I hope to attend many more.
