Introduction to Responsive Classroom
This was a really helpful training (as someone who is both fairly new to education and very new to Burke's). It helped contextualize a lot of the practices I've seen teachers utilize here, so I now have a better understanding of why things are done the way they are done both in and out of the classroom at Burke's!
I especially appreciated the "Teacher Language" portion of this training. I feel I've instinctually and unconsciously picked up both helpful and unhelpful language throughout my time in education, so that section really helped me clarify which language is actually helpful and why! It also gave me ideas for new language I can incorporate, and inspired me to be super intentional in this department.

I hope the training provided you with tools and time to learn and collaborate with others. It's so helpful for students having teachers familiar with and using consistent language and tools from Responsive Classroom trainings and I'm glad it was helpful.
