CATDC Women + Leadership 2026 Conference
I attended the CATDC Women + Leadership Conference after being invited by Lauren Benjamin. It was held on February 6, 2026 in the Presidio at the Edge & Node House. The quote of this conference was "The single thing all women need in the world is inspiration, and inspiration comes from storytelling." The breakouts I attended were "Leadership from Within, "Practical Wisdom, and "Relational Wisdom." I was thrilled to see Nayo Brooks at this conference, as well as my co-presenter for the CATDC cohort I am facilitating with, Sarah Shields. This day provided unexpected respite from the daily duties of a veteran educator. I left with confidence in my experience, inspiring stories from local female leaders, and the strong feeling of connection with fellow Bay Area women in education.
I would highly recommend this opportunity to anyone who has lead a group or aspires to do so. This day of reflection and connection was a more of a retreat than a conference and a worthwhile personal growth experience.
